No SharePlay button available in FaceTime?

I’m wondering if this is just a compatibility issue with my old iPhone 7, or if there are more people with newer phones facing the same issue.

i’m not seeing an option to enable SharePlay and share my screen and a FaceTime call. Neither is the other caller, who is using an iPhone XR.

We are both on todays public release of iOS 15, so no betas involved.

Thanks! Thought it was just my specific case. Good to know they’re still working to make it better.

It was a bit broken in the beta, which is why they pulled it. I would bet it will come with 15.2 in November, as I suspect Universal Control will be coming in 15.1 in early October with MacOS Monterey. Due to how buggy both were, I would think they would split them between the 2 releases rather than bundling both in 1 release.

Since fitness is coming to SharePlay also so I think that could of been another option why apple delayed it
