no sim card operation help?

I bought a used Iphone 3gs and it has no sim card....did the full erase to start the sync with itunes....how do I use it as a touch.....and get past the "no sim card installed"

your going to have to hacktivate your iphone, but i do not know how to do that. Try searching the forums or google on hactivating
