Here is my story.

Was at work like 45 minutes ago. On the internet, everything working perfectly.

Stuck the phone in my pocket and drove home from work.

Got home and went to make a call and my phone now says no sim card!?!??!

I didnt touch anything, everything looks in place. I restarted it like 3 times with no success.

Any ideas????

i had the same thing happen to me. so weird. what i did was power the phone off and popped open the sim card slot with a paper clip, took it out of the slot for a second, popped it back in the slot, powered the phone back on and everything was fine.

Still don't know why it did it, but it's fine now. it did that to me 2-3 times.

Hope this helps

I've had the same thing happen to me twice, I take out the sim card and it seems kinda warm...i wiped it off and put it back in and it seemed to work. I called apple care about it and they said it's probably the sim card, so if it happens again I'll be going to AT&T and asking for a new sim. Hasn't happened since Saturday though.
