hi folks,

I have a problem
with bluetooth pairing on my 3g, 3.1.2, blacksn0wed, .Everything is working perfect except bluetooth..

It can not be paired with any Headset, I tried 2 bluetooths on other 3g
with 3.1.2 they all working fine...but mine just gets stuck ..when I try
to pair...

it actually finds the headset, but it only says " HEADSET........NOT
PAIRED" ...while it should detect the name of the headset i.e. "Motorola
550".

when I click on that it does not go to the code screen and keeps
circling. Pls check attached image

Solution tried:
1. been around 20 days and restored through itune, restored through
3.1.2 on itune's folder , Restored as a new device and also in DFU
mode, more then 10 times.
2. Deleted a file called TERMCAP ( */usr/include/termcap.h *)which used
to be the procedure to fix bluetooth on iphone on 1.2 version. It
detected the headset with proper name after deleting that file and went
to the code screen even ...but did not asked the code..then showed
paired...but without voice..I rebooted the device and deleted pairing
..now it came to the same problem ..like before...I restored and deleted
that "termcap" file again 3 times but no success no more..

man I would have no option but to get rid of iphone as I need bluetooth
cause I drive a lot....

Hi,

I've exactly the same problem and am also desperate. If there is any proven solution or advise for resolution then please share...

Many thanks in advance,

Marc.
