I posted about this in the iOS app section really looking for an app but I feel there may be an issue with my iPhone.

For some time now whenever my alarm goes off to wake me up I get no sound or vibration from iPhone. My Apple Watch will sound and tap me but if I rolled over on to my wrist it gets muffled between me and the mattress.

I’ve checked volume settings and deleted the bed time schedule but it still isn’t alerting me.

This is even more important since my primary alarm clock died (my Mac mini) and I’m relying only on my iPhone/Apple Watch to wake me up.

Is this expected behavior? I’m about to do a backup and restore but want to get information from the community first.

I’m on iOS 14.7 if that helps, but it has been doing this for at least several months now.

I wrote in your other thread and I tried as many different scenarios, I could think of, but no matter what I did, my iPhone always sounded the alarm correctly. Sorry.

Thanks.

I researched online and it seems this is by design by Apple. There’s even a note buried in the Health App.

I guess I’m just late to the party on this one.

Okay, now everything's clear to me!😆
You were talking about the bedtime alarm (or whatever it's called) and I was talking about the regular alarm.
The regular alarm DOES go of on your iPhone, even if you're wearing the Apple Watch. Maybe you wanna give it a try?
