No sound from notifications on various apps

Is anyone having issues with notification sounds on some apps, but not all? The notifications appear on both the phone and watch, but there is no sound. I have checked all the notification settings for these apps, they are enabled, just not hearing anything. I've even re installed them.

FYI, this was fixed in 17.1. i made no other changes to any settings.

I still have this issue in 17.1. Thought I was going crazy until I stared at my phone until notifications came in. I’ve toggled sound off and on for the app notifications, no changes.
