No sound in Gaming Apps!!

for some reason my sound is disabled in all my gaming apps... system sounds work fine (volume up and volume down "pops") as well as itunes and ichat sounds.. all of a sudden battlefield 1942 became silent, and another game notified me "Unable to initialize sound! (3)"

please help! this is extreeeemely frustrating

okay this is really aggrivating...

it may be this "SIMBL" app i installed... but it wont let me delete it because it is "in use"... i quit all my apps and it still says its in use... how do i delete these things?

Try opening Garageband and then quitting it assuming you have it.

thank you soooo much i called up apple and they told me to restore the system libraries, and all i had to do was open and close garagband! i knew it had to be some conflict!

now is this "previous systems" folder of any use to me anymore? it is taking up 5GB of space.

It's very delete-able so long as you've got all your preferences (bookmarks etc.) and such from it.
