iPod no sound out of the right side

there is no sound coming out of right. i tried different head phones, but it does the same thing. now if i push it in a little bit it'll work.

if i open the ipod is there some way i can fix this?

Could something be stuck down the headphone port? If you plug in the headphones, do they sit flush or is there a gap?

I have had to dig lint out of my iPod before that was causing the same problem. Just take a pin and dig in there to see if there's something blocking the port.
