Greetings:

I'm fairly new to the MAC world and have not found my way around this computer completely. I have seen a commercial of an iMAC sending email and a swishing sound occurred when the email was sent. I wonder how one turns on the sound that indicates the email has been transmitted? And, are there choices of different sounds for this purpose?

My Reply 2 U

Well now that you mention it, I have not heard the ping when the mail comes in. All the Audio stuff I use works fine. Itunes, MP3's, CD's and even the use of Audio Hijack Pro to copy music off the Internet. Hmmm now you have me really thinking. Something must be shut off.

My Reply 2 U No. Ii

I checked out the preferences before I posted here. I see no issue with any of the selections. The ping is selected and the audio select is checked. Ya got me:confused:
