How to solve this problem? Not the internal speakers, not the external. Playing games is very boring whitout sound.
iMac 24"
Well what have you tried? are the speakers plugged into the right port (as in headphone port not the line in port [>o<])? Are the speakers turned on? Do you hear a start-up chime? When you go to System Preferences>Sounds>Output, do internal speakers or other audio show up there?
What steps have you don to try and fix this? Your post is incredibly vague and your wording makes it difficult to understand. Do the internal speakers work, or is it only your external? Do you have sound for the rest of the OS (as in opening up files or trashing files)?
Give more details before expecting a reply.
Speakers are plugged into the right port and they are turned on. I don't hear a start-up chime. [internal speakers also don't work] It all does work in Mac OS X. Sorry i come from belgium, i don't know how to say everything.
My speakers don't show up in windows in the hardware-list, so is it a driver problem or something? How can i get this driver?
WOW it helped!! thank you so much! You are my god or somethinmg
