Whenever my mac wakes from sleep there is no ssl. I created another user account and it works. So I know something is fubared on my account. Any ideas on how to fix it
Oh HELL NO. The OP stated that with a new user it worked fine, so there's ABSOLUTELY NO NEED to reinstall the OS. Sheesh.
While I am familiar with SSL, I am unfamilir with "Yellow pad lock", if that's what you're trying to use and it's non-functional. Can you give us more details about which version of OS X you're using and EXACTLY what you're trying to do that is failing?
yellow lock = windows I just used that since most people have seen that.
Here is how the problem goes
I put either my powerbook 12 inch or my Intel Imac to sleep. I go to sleep then wake up in the day and I have no ssl for www.google.com./ig
mail
aduim
etc
To fix it I have to unplug my cable modem and plug back in.
The Imac did this straight out of the box. My powerbook does this to all accounts. On the new one only the account I used the migration wizard does this.
