No text notifications while using phone

Hi, since I got the iPhone x, I never get notifications that I have a new text while Im on my phone (browsing the web, on Facebook, whatever). No sound, no banner, nothing. I only find out I got a text when I see the badge in the text app on the home screen. Can someone please help? Thanks

Have you checked to make sure that Do Not Disturb isn't enabled?

Yeah it's not. I checked every setting I could think of. Weird

Now it Seems to be working fine. I updated to the latest 11.2. Beta 4, not sure if that fixed it or what. Weird
