No updates for the past week or 2?

I have an iphone 3g currently running 3.0 and there hasn't been any updates whatsoever on the app store. Now, I used to get updates all the time for my 100+ popular and unpopular apps. Does anybody know what is going on?


I thought there would be a bunch of new updates along with the 3.0?

There are for many apps. Many more have not yet been updated. Double check to see if there are updates via iTunes, and perhaps compare the current version of the Apps in the App Store with the version on your Computer/iPhone/iPod.

Yeah, it seems that Apple has been rushing to update the crappy apps like the fart and soundboard apps that really no one uses, while important updates to apps such as Tweetie and Slacker (unrelated to the possible push issues as these apps do not use push) get nothing, and really need the updates to be compatible with Apple's newest OS. I wish something could be done to slap the Apple app department in the face. The developers should be complaining more because the incompatibilities are taken out on them via ratings, and this affects sales, when this is clearly not their fault because they submitted updates (both noted for Tweetie and Slacker, and i'm sure many other well used apps).

Its complete BS and none of the media is picking up on it.

I don't think it has to do with popularity of apps, as much as the order they were submitted. And also, it has nothing to do with push for those apps other then that the MASIVE amount of push apps are slowing down ALL updates.

The developers should be complaining more

Most emails involving payment or app approvals usually go unanswered. App updates are taking weeks. I've got two app updates going on three weeks now, where it usually takes one week at the worst. There's nothing we can do about it, or anyone that we can call.
