no Viber for the Mac

Isn't there a Viber app for the mac on the AppStore? I think i can only find it on other sites... is it safe and how come it isn't on the AppStore?

Either because the developer doesn't want to give Apple 30% cut of his sales, or that the app is written in such a way (using certain APIs, or cannot be sandboxed), it will not pass the review process.

I'm not familiar with the viber app so I cannot comment on it one way or another
