iPod No Video Or Sound When Playing Videos On Ipod Screen Freezes Help !!!!

i dont kno if im the only one having this problem but when i transfer videos to my ipod and try to play them the screen goes black with no sound ..i then have to reste the ipod because it sticks ...ccan any one help me please !!!!!!!!!
