I just bought a 2012 Mac mini. The problem I'm having is trying to use it after it goes to sleep. The Mac mini wakes up but my monitor wakes up to "No video signal" then it goes to stand by then wakes up again to the same thing. I have to manually unplug the monitor then plug it in to get a signal. It's connected by HDMI. Any solutions would greatly be appreciated.

I had a simular problem with my monitor this morning but it turned out it wasn't due to the mac mini. I lost power yesterday due to the storm and when it came back and rebooted my mini the monitor showed 'no signal analog'. Tried it with my mbp... same message so I knew it wasn't the mac mini. Turns out a button on the monitor selects between inputs a/b and the power going out must have set the monitor to the input that wasn't connected to anything. A simple push of the button corrected this issue.
