I don't really know when this started, but I noticed a little while ago that you can't sort your music by album in itunes any more, you can only sort it by "album by artist" and it's aggravating me because i can't sort out my music according to which mix cd it was in any more. I tried messing with the view options, but when i chose to have the album option, it stayed as album by artist. Any ideas on how to fix this, or is this just some idiotic part of itunes 8?

No, iTunes doesn't have any idiotic parts. Just click on "album" in the album column header, and click again, and again. See?
