Hey everyone I'm hoping someone can help me out here.

I have an iPhone4s with 6.1.2 jail broken with evasi0n. I recently found out that I have no voice mail.

My girlfriend has tried calling me, and if I don't answer it will either ring and hang up on the caller or it gives a Verizon error message and hangs up. I have tried using default and custom greetings, but neither work.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Can you list the apps and tweaks you have on your phone? Low chance of this happening, but maybe there is an incompatibility somewhere.

see how the latest version is still jailbreakable, why not try...

1. backing up and then restore
2. see if voicemail works WITHOUT restoring from backup yet
3. jailbreak your iphone
4. see if voicemail works after the jailbreak WITHOUT restoring from backup yet
5. restore from backup
6. see if voicemail works after the jailbreak

at least, doing these steps can help you pinpoint if it was a problem with the OS, jailbreak, backup, or even a tweak.

Seeing how you have the opportunity to still restore and jailbreak, I would take it. Better than down the road when the latest version is not jailbreakable and you want to fix the issue

edit: although you don't need to, I always put my iphone into DFU mode when restoring

I'll give that a try. and DFU mode?

This has happened to me a couple of times and it was AT&T making some sort of change to my voicemail routing...had nothing to do with my jailbreak. A call to your carrier may be in order.

Thanks for the heads up. I shall give VZW a call soon.
