I have read on multiple websites that macOS will warn the user about installed 32 bit apps before the user upgrades to Catalina. Is this not true?
I just upgraded to Catalina. Prior to it I had run Go64 and found that I have nothing of use that is 32 bit. However, I have 32 bit apps:
Why wasn't I notified of these 32 bit apps? I'm 100% sure there was no popup about it.
I just upgraded to Catalina. Prior to it I had run Go64 and found that I have nothing of use that is 32 bit. However, I have 32 bit apps:
- iPhoto.app (it's an 2013 machine..)
- Various Adobe apps (even though I've uninstalled my Adobe apps, some .app files are still lurking around like Adobe Air Uninstaller, AAM Updates Notifier, Adobe Application Manager, AAM Registration Manager, Setup, Uninstall Products, Adobe Air Updater). This is exactly why I stopped using Adobe products.
- Canon printer utility
- EndNote X7 (used for reference management when writing papers)
Why wasn't I notified of these 32 bit apps? I'm 100% sure there was no popup about it.
