I recently updated both of my iPhones to iOS 18.0.1 and now in the Photo app there is no way to find (and delete) Recently Deleted photos.

The updates to the Photos app are HORRENDOUS!!!!

You can no longer see albums or recently deleted photos and the UI is a total FUBAR.

Both of my iPhones are nearly full (i.e. 350GB and 200GB) and I need help getting my old photos and videos permanently delted off my iPhones to free up storage.

Please help!!

Photos app, scroll down toward the bottom, there should be a Utilities section that has access to Recently Deleted. If you don't see Utilities, scroll all that way down to and tap Customize & Reorder and make sure that Utilities is turned on.

All I see at the bottom of the Photos app is "Customize & Reorder"

If I click on that, it gives me a list of categories (?) with radio buttons to the left. (Not sure what that is.)

Make sure that there is a check mark next to Utilities and then hit the "X" top-right. Now under your photos and above the "Customize & Reorder" button you will have a section called "Utilities" that allows you to access "Deleted Photos" (if it wasn't already there.)
