I got my M4 Pro iPad today, set it up. I noticed that in the top right corner, it shows "5G" instead of the WiFi concentric circles, even though it is on WiFi - I confirmed that in Settings, and running Speedtest where it connected to Comcast over WiFi not AT&T/cellular. Plus, the speed result was clearly my ISP plan.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is a setting messed up?

EDIT: A couple hours later the icon was correct. Just a small bug/glitch I guess. I leave this post here in case it happens to someone else.
