No WiFi Syncing: Data Case/Things

Just read this on the Things forums. If you do not have a WiFi signal...

1. Go to your airport status at the taskbar
2. Choose create Network and name it.
3. Go to Settings on your phone
4. Choose the network you just created on your computer

Now you can transfer files using Data Case and Sync Things without WiFi

Well you are still using WiFi just an ad-hoc network which is just your iphone connecting directly to your computer without a access point

And it works for any app that requires or can be helped by having the faster WiFi connection, not just DataCase and Things.

I'm assuming this is for Mac only??
