After upgrading from beta to final 14, both iPad Mini 5 and iPhone 11 both cannot connect to WiFi.

iPhone X is on 13.7 and is fine as are other devices - Mac, laptop, Windows, and S20.

Had trouble with AdGuard Pro VON and Apple’s Private Address but felt that was ironed out - can’t have PA & a VPN.

Time to install iOS 13.7 while I still can.

Is there a safe boot mode?

I was hoping I’d get 13.7 but got 14 instead after reset. Bummer.

I was having similar issues. For me it was constantly trying to connect to the VPN but it was failing. I switched it off and it connected to my wifi again.

Ever since updating to ios14 both my iPad Pro and iPhone 11 refuse to stay connected to one of my APs

This is certainly an iOS issue, no changes to the WiFi equipment or config.

in my house I have business WiFi APs hardwired, tp-link EAP245, these are fine. Outdoors I have a tp-link 225, it is this it cannot stay connected to.

It connects then after a few seconds, immediately disconnects. Nothing has changed in the config, it runs channel 36 5ghz and channel 1 2.4ghz.

Ive got no special settings like disassociate at signal strength and I’ve turned off fast roaming or airtime fairness.

Any reports of WiFi issues like this with iOS14 and any fixes?

Yes, same here. Homepods are stuttering. Music distribution via Airplay keeps hanging. I had iOS14 beta for several weeks and no problems at all!

+1 did a clean iOS 14 install, cannot connect to WiFi at all
- reboot
- reset network settings

I'm having a similar issue. It didn't happen until the GM. I wonder if they had something disabled in all of the other versions.

Yeah my 11 pro just keeps dropping off my home wifi since upgradiong to iOS 14. Same problem whether Private Address is on or off.

Has there been any update on this issue? Have 10.5 iPad Pro that cannot connect or stay connected to WiFi. Have tried every sort of reset suggested and have continued turn off private address feature which keeps turning back on

Wondering the same thing. Hesitated to upload 14.0.1 and now have huge regrets for doing so on my XS and IPad Pro. WiFi went from sporadic to now nonexistent. I’ve tried resets, turned off private address and nothing. It’s beyond frustrating having no WiFi in my own home. Lost respect for Apple for leaving us hanging on this known issue. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I've been having the same issue. What I did to "fix" it (I don't know if any of this actually did anything, but it's been stable all day):

1) Disable VPN & uninstall the VPN app (if you're not using a VPN, skip this)
2) Under Settings/Cellular, disable Wi-Fi Assist
3) Disable everything under Settings/General/Airplay & Handoff
4) Disable Settings/General/Airdrop ("Receiving off")
5) Enable Airplane Mode
6) Restart (UpVol-Unlock, slide)

When the phone restarts disable Airplane Mode and check on the status of the Wi-Fi settings.

I'll start re-enabling things in reverse order (4,3,2,1, one a week) to see if the bad behavior comes back.

Similar experience: My brand new iphone 12 disconnects from wifi. My XR had no problem until 14.1. It seems to be a handoff issue: i.e. switching from cellular to wifi.

Without going into your complex fix, I simply shut off and rebooted. It seems to "fix" the wifi disconnect issue, at least temporarily.

This happened again after the latest update (iOS 14.3). Multiple power-cycles later, things seem normal.
