No wireless keyboard

last time I checked the price on an imac I couldn't select a wireless keyboard. Logged on to the US store to see it wasn't a regional thing (1st used Irish store), but no dice.

What's up? Maybe they are going to update the wireless keyboard with the mighty mouse and its being updated?

if that were the case, then shouldn't you only be able to select the wireless option and not the wired option. if they were getting rid of their wired accessories, then the wired keyboard and MM shouldn't be available, but they are.

Yeah, looking at the site again I think you're right. The radio buttons for option selection are new aren't they? Didn't there used to be pull-down menuboxes before? If so, I'd guess this is just an unintentional omission.

I'm getting a iMac soon, hopefully they will be updated at the latest conference, if not, I guess I can wait a tad more...

Anyways, I really want the wireless keyboard and mouse. It seems as mentioned above that you MUST get the wired keyboard and mouse when ordering from the site. Is there anyway around this? I really don't need a duplicate set of them! And no, I don't need a back-up, I'll already have that. I guess I could call up Apple.....

This of course could all change once then new (new chip) IMac is released. Ugh I HATE waiting!!

You could also just get the wired KB and mouse AND the wireless, and then sell your wired to get a little back? Since it'll be brand new, you ought to fetch something for it.

The wireless option was taken out when they introduced the BT Mighty Mouse.

They're probably just refiguring out the pricing.

I'm betting that once they release the new toys at WWDC they'll put the option back.

I really hope the IMac gets updated soon. My Windows box has a bad video card and its just the excuse I need to move over to Mac. I'm been stealing my wife's MacBook as often as I can!
