noise in blackbook speakers

when i have the volume at maximum on my new blackbook, i'm noticing a discernible level of noise. i don't recall this being an issue with my older powerbook. i hear on itunes especially on songs that have quieter parts in some, from canon to space oddity.

Do you hear the noise while having earphones plugged in, or through the speakers? Hearing noise with headphones isn't anything to be worried about.

it's just the built in speakers. it's kind of subtle - only really hear it on the bass, so i'm inclined to think it's just the limitation of the speakers.
