I wouldn't want a phone like that.

Not if it looked like a cross between a hospital bracelet and a bookmark, and definitely not if it constantly asked me stupid questions!

It is quite interesting, but I feel like it would be too thin to be useful. Very cool video though. Maybe by the time we have the capability to make this kind of phone they will have come up with a more ergonomic way to use it.

I certainly wouldn't want that, way too flimsy and looks unflattering limp. I like the concept of tech that can do that, but in real life i don't think i'd want to carry a phone about that i feel as though i could rip :D

Interesting that while the design is ultra-slim, the interface is really obtrusive and in-your face. All that "what do you want to do today stuff" is so over-designed and microsoftish. Apple would not have a big "You are here..........and the bookshop is here" flashing up on screen. They would have a simple map with "you" and "bookshop" on it.

Yes I know it's not a real phone!

an simple point that predates language even

and I definitely not if it constantly asked me stupid questions!

You made a point that a lot of futurists and techies fail to comprehend many a time. Whatever the future may hold, we are the one in control or there won't be a future. To have a phone that constantly as you what you would like to do, like that annoying college roommate that wants to be your friend is no vision the future:D . My favorite vision of the future was imagineed by Bill Gates, who envision a smart refridgerator that knows when your milk goes bad and tells you to go out and get it. To think a smart man like Bill Gates can come up with such a brilliant idea like this. I guess we all are allowed a few brain farts:D .

I like the design and idea. I just hope is doesnt make you ware the same underwear in bed and on the street like the girl was :D

By the time the technology makes a phone like that possible, the style and marketing techniques used by that film will seem painfully, embarrassingly out-of-date. Like bad 1950s Sci-fi.

Oh... wait... it already seems like that now.

Yes, it does. It looks like a late-nineties idea of futuristic high-technology.

It's neither attractive, nor, from what I can tell, would it be terribly useful.

I don't want a phone that moves on its own, thank you very much. That thing would creep me out constantly.

"shall we play a game?"

that thing kinda creeped me out...

My feeling exactly. I wouldn't mind a phone that thin - though how you could comfortably hold the thing I don't know - but I wouldn't want a phone that thought it was my friend.

And the same for the squirming. I'd like an immobile phone, if you please. A phone that acts like a sick beetle isn't very attractive.

I would never get that phone! It's way too creepy. I would try to kill it if it started moving on it's own like that.

Plus, I could break that thing in half with one finger.

Sweet. I'd really go for something like that. Perhaps not all the feelgood what shall we do today stuff but for slim design and the dynamic movement bit it'd be great.
