This looks slick, and it certainly caters for those looking for the large screen and fast data.
Microsoft OS, no thanks. The last thing we want is to give them marketshare.

I really REALLY want a Windows Phone 7 Phone (Don't knock it till you try it; IMO it's one of the best OSes out there that all the others could learn from) but Verizon has stated they aren't going to carry any new WP7 phones unless more LTE devices roll out, so all The Big Red gets is the crappy HTC Trophy.

Waiting on a nice Verizon Windows Phone also. LTE not necessary either.
Windows Phone is the nicest and smoothest mobile OS there is IMO plus Ive had iOS and Android already so a change would be nice.

I lived through the 90s and early 00s, I saw what Microsoft does with control and marketshare. I said no thanks then, I say no thanks now.
I actually like open standards and interoperability. 2 things Microsoft wasn't about and still isn't (Embrace, Extend, Extinguish, that's what they do).

But when Apple does it, it's OK? Because iOS is hardly open or interoperable, and Apple's trying to sue their competition out of business.

And I don't agree with Apple's litigious tactics. But frankly, their success has been rather limited on that front. When they become the next Microsoft, I'll go back to Linux, just like I did in the 90s when I couldn't agree with Microsoft's ways anymore.
Forgive me, I'm not standing up for either argument, I buy products on a "what I like" basis, but what you have mentioned there is all I see Apple doing nowadays.
Really ? Maybe I just don't see all this control Apple has over the market really... Apple may push out proprietary stuff that's closed and undocumented, but they are hardly in a position to get adopted enough to matter to others that don't use their software.
That's the key difference : the monopoly people.

I know that Nokia have a vested interest in making WP7 succeed but they have been head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to WP7 hardware.

I love the hardware, but I'm still not sold on WP7. I'm not a fan of the big, blocky interface. The big tiles just don't do it for me.
It'll take ages to reach NZ though. Just out of curiosity, what's wrong with the Titan in your opinion? Just too big?
That thing is gigantic. It's like holding a tablet up to your head or something. Of course, that is assuming that people actually use their phone as, you know, a phone or something. I can't imagine carrying around something like that every day. It makes me wonder where this insane screen size war will end.
It's not that unwieldy though. It's pretty much the size of a Sensation or Galaxy S2, even though it packs an extra half an inch of display. In fact, it's probably not much bigger than the Lumia 900. It's definitely not like the Samsung Note.
