Mozilla just enabled webGL on mobile firefox. it runs pretty nice on N900.

The N900 excites me but it's too much of a work in progress. I'll wait until next year and the N910 or N920 witrh Maemo 6.

price is another concern. I can hardly put out >$300 for this, and cheapest price now is $400. Maybe when 910 is out, this will be cheaper...

This seems to be the only mature platform for firefox mobile at this time. Im really looking forward to it. mobile safari's progress has been extremely slow, and alot of features I would like to see probably will never happen.

If it were possible and I was in the market for a phone, I'd rather take the risk and get the Nokia N900 and the unproven (in the public marketplace, anyway) Maemo than get an iPhone. Looks absolutely killer. Even Symbian S60 5th edition, which I know that people say is crap and blah blah blah, has quite a few things that I wish I still had on this iPhone of mine. Digging through 4 levels of menus just isn't fun, even if the iPhone 3Gs is really snappy. :eek:
