I just saw this the other day and thought it could be a nice iPad alternative until…

Designed to last? Last what, two years? And meanwhile the iPad Air 2 is going strong with 7 years of OS upgrades.

My Samsung tablet may get a third OS update.
According to Amazon, tablets get at least four years of updates, once the device is no longer for sale on their website.
