Would a non-Apple external SuperDrive work with the MBA? If so, would it just use a USB port? And what ones would you recommend? I'm looking to save money. But if Apple's is the most reliable, or if there are other little things about it that should make me choose it instead of 3rd party ones, I'll bite the bullet. Thanks in advance!

Wirelessly posted (iPhone 3GS: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_4 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8K2 Safari/6533.18.5)

CD-ROM drives are basically all the same. Any USB drive will work with your Air. I have an old (5 years) Phillips CD drive hooked up to my 2010 iMac and it works fine.

I've got a samsung USB DVD drive that works with both my hackintoshs. Samsung claim it is Osx compatible. I hope so I want to use it with my new MBA (when they are released :p)
