Jeez, and to see the hysteria that this fake company instilled. Heck, it got on the front page of Wired.com, both Engadget and Gizmodo were suckered in on it. The discussion of "Legality" was rampant before anyone actually had "Confirmation" of purchase or ship date. Digg.com had several front page stories regarding Psystar.

I posted here ages ago that the "company" PSYSTAR is pronounced SHYSTER.

I suppose if a company called ROB BERRY INC. said it was coming out with a new computer using OSX, everyone here would take that seriously too!

It's been amusing though, watching people writing seriously about an outfit called SHYSTER. April 1st was a couple of weeks ago, but it looks like the SHYSTER joke still has legs.

Yes I have. That retraction is for a different story. The difference here is that people are actually trying to order psystar computers. The other story was just a rumor that turned out to be false.

I have two non-apple computers running Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.2.
