Thought I'd put together a handful of photos that are candid, not ultra premium photoshopped ones from Apple. Courtesy of Google:

I hope all of those are the 42mm because those are huge (except maybe red one second to last? but hard to tell)

I am torn between a Milanese and that blue loop band thing. I might buy bought if I can use both in the same AWatch am pre-ordering unseen, if and when - it is a go with pre-orders.

I am not really sure if I want a Steel version with Steel band.
Or a complete black one and that means SpaceGray Sport with Rubber or leather band.

So I like this photos.

Steel with steel:

SpaceGray with rubber band:

Here and by searching "apple watch hands on" on Google Images and selecting Search Tools -> Type -> Photo, you can find all the non-corporate photos you want

It's going to be really REALLY interesting to move forward a few years, as see if these models, and executives in nice suits are still all happily brandishing Apple Watches.

Humans are funny animals.
The sole reason they are wearing them now, will no longer be in place.
It's going to be interesting to see if this changes.

To me at least I find the (supposedly) amateur field shots make the watch a lot more desirable than the pro studio ones. Funny how that works sometimes. I know it's true of BMWs too.

Well, that may actually be because you subconsciously feel they are more honest.
We all know how a maker such as Apple set's up photo's. Studio lighting, Photoshop tweaks.
Heck even the scene will be picked for the object.

Remember those hollow cut away spheres they watches were or perhaps still are mounted in.

They were cleverly made to disguise how thick the watch looks

Take a sphere, cut a section of it away, then mount the watch within the sphere, so that if you try and look sideways on to see how thick the watch looks, you cannot see, as it's set back at just the right amount so the edge of the sphere cut away blocks your view as you try and look sideways.

Clever, verging on slightly dishonest as it's deliberately made to block your viewpoint.

But most won't even realise that.

Or like a McBurger 1/4 pounder in a studio shot for the advert, as opposed to what you get in store when you actually order one, and compare it to the photo! :)

Casual Real Life Photo's are more honest.

Hmm... I think most of Apple's professional shots make the watch look thicker and bulkier than it is IRL.

Btw, that third photo is actually an Apple employee.

That's because the way the bands are attached hides the bulk when on the wrist and none of the renders show it modeled on a wrist.
That's why the Moto 360 looks so terrible to me: the bands are at the bottom, highlighting that it is a huge, thick watch. If the bands attached in the middle, it would look a lot more sleek and stylish.

Which is another example of how Apple gets design and Motorola doesn't.

EDIT: Thanks for pointing out my slip-up, Piggie.

Wow this had cheered my day up :p

Hate to point this out to you, but Samsung does not make the Moto 360

Note: The clue is in the name!

Ugh, I can't believe I did that! My bad. You're absolutely right, Piggie, Samsung has nothing to do with the Moto 360.

The Moto 360 is better-looking than anything in the Galaxy Gear lineup though.
