Did you get a new Surface? Lumia? Nexus? Galaxy Note? Kindle Fire? Lenovo Yoga? Chrome book? BlackBerry? Share below. :D

Seeing as it's drawing ever closer to Christmas Day, I'd be interested in which non-iOS devices were given this year.

My wife has given me mine early this year so I can get it all set up before Christmas Day (she knows how I like to tinker) and so that I can spend all of Xmas day assembling toys and playing with my children and their presents (LEGO Minecraft YAY! :))

After telling her I wanted either the Acer C720 or an LG Gpad, I received a shiny new GPad yesterday.

Tried it on stock firmware for the evening to look for ant initial issies with the device and found none.

Me being me, I've already whacked a custom recovery on there and am running CyanogenMod 11 (KitKat). Fantastic tablet for a present.

Anyone else get a present early? Got to wait for the big day? What did Santa bring you and what do you expect? :D

I'd also like to take the opportunity to say happy Christmas to all, its been another fun year on MacRumors with plenty of good tech discussion and banter here.

Great forum.

My wife won't even try to surprise me with tech gear and gadgets, admitting full well she has no clue what she's doing so I just 'purchase on her behalf'. ;)

This years gift was an LG G Pad 8.3 GPE. It actually had a nice side benefit for her as rather than sell my Nexus 7, she inherited it as she was looking to downsize from her iPad 3 (used mostly for reading).

I bought a Moto G for my wife and a couple other members of the family. Took one out of the box and played around with if for a little while the other day -- great little device.

Edit: Also got myself an early present in the form of the G Pad GPe. It replaces my iPad mini, which I will be giving to my parents.

Got my wife a brand new car :p

As far as tech gadgets, got myself a new AC router and a new server. Considered the GPE LG Gpad, but it's not the highest end hardware at a high-end price.

All I want and need is clothes since I rarely shop for them myself. My GF, mother, and sisters are actually good at getting clothes that I like and fit me.

I get them all tech gifts, jewelry, and stuffed animals that do cute stuff. I dare not even attempt to shop for clothes as a gift for any women unless it's for my GF on valentines day.

Like many other, I buy my own tech "gifts". Recently I bought a new SSD, an 840 Evo so now I can use my regular 840 as a Mari cache.

I also received a pebble. I didn't think I would use it much, but since setting it up my phone just sits on the table and then I decide if if need to get it. It is really useful. It is nice to see if it just got a useless email, text, or notification that can wait for a response. Also, when driving it is very very convientant. In my line of work I often get emails to call someone and I hate looking at my phone when driving.

Sammy note 10.1 2014 edition. The verdict is still out on this guy. I think I'd almost rather have an iPad but we'll give it a few more days.

Let's see...I sold iPad Mini and put the money toward an iPad Air
Parents gave me cash
Brother gave me a black Nintendo 3DS Xl with a Mario RPG game
Nephew gave me a Nintendo 2DS with Animal Crossing game

I'm very grateful for all I received. I just gave out cash/gift cards.

I tried the Dell Venue 8 with Android, but returned it. Would have loved if the Nexus 7 was actually 8" as I would have bought that instead of the iPad Air.

Got an unexpected late XMAS pressie from the wife!

An Acer C720 like I hinted at. :D

Already got it dual booting Chrome OS and Ubuntu. Fun little laptop. Time to see how good Haswell can be battery wise.

I got my GFs little girl a 3ds with that Mario RPG game. I freaking hate it...it's like 99% talking and 1% gameplay!! She got bored after 2 minutes

I didn't realize it was an RPG so had to get a normal Mario game too...which was a nightmare b.c the Nintendo store got raped.
