Hello everyone, I had a quick question before I decide on my purchase. I see everywhere I look MacBook Pro reviews with XP and games but how does the 1.83 GHz Duo with 1GB Ram MacBook fair? I have a nice Windows based PC that I use for gaming, this notebook would be mostly for school/IT purposes but wanted to find out if I would be able to play WoW possibly. I want to put XP on it just to save the money from buying a copy of Office for Mac since I have a copy of Windows XP and Office XP here. I would just buy a Windows based notebook, but I really would like a MacBook and just don't have $2000 to shell out for the MacBook Pro.

XP in Bootcamp will work just as good as it would with a MacBook Pro, just about the only difference in performance will come from the fact that the Pro model has a dedicated graphics card whilst the MacBook has a intergrated 64mb card, this shouldnt cause any difference in most things apart from games.....

So to conclude XP will run very very well on a Macbook, it will run rather fast infact,
