My account and billing is US-based, but phone/app is often accessed outside the US.

When trying to play a song, I often receive 'song not available' or 'song not authorized' or some such. But if I click a few times it will eventually play.

I understand the geographic and IP/Licensing issues. The problem is not that inability to access certain songs, it's that the behavior is erratic and unpredictable. Keep in my this is from a steady geographic location and internet connection --- not bouncing from VPN or gateway to gateway between each click.

Recently switched from Spotify. When I was on that platform I often travelled across borders and didn't have such a problem. I have yet to use AM outside Belgium, but I'll be curious to see how that works when I do. I would think Apple would do what Netflix does, they simply don't show you a title if it isn't available in a certain location so you don't get your hopes up and click/tap on it, repeatedly, like an idiot. In other words, I've added a movie to my list while at home, but when I open Flix in Spain it's gone, until I get home again, then it magically re-appears.

No annoyingly Apple show you titles and let’s you add them to your playlists etc even if you cannot legally play them in your country, it makes a bit of a mess to be honest.

And the strange things is its not albums , its individual songs within an album. Cannot think of a legal arrangements where only certain songs are geoblocked. Its just an oddity.
