Does this disappoint you?
It certainly disappoints me. I really like the 21.5 inch size. Not having the option for a deeicated GPU in one is really disappointing. My current 21.5 inch has a dedicated GPU in it. Apple is corcing us to spend more for a 27 inch iMac.

What are your feelings about this?

Feel sad. Just bought a 27", so far so good.

I was curious about this today. The iMac has a desktop processor compared to the rMBP's laptop processor, but the rMBP line now has the dedicated video card. Granted the Iris Pro graphics are pretty damn good these days at both gaming and pro work, but they're still not great compared to a 4gb Radeon assuming you max that part out on the new rMBP.

Kinda curious which one would be faster for video editing at this point considering those 2 trade offs.

Yeah, I’d love a 21,5" iMac with a much beefier gpu and replaceable RAM too. But my dream is long shattered :-(
