very new to appletv, and I have a couple of quick questions.

1) Can you only rent or can you purchase HD movies?

2) Can you purchase them through iTunes or do you have to purchase them through the appletv?

3) If purchased through appletv, will the movies sync to iTunes?

It is my understanding (some please correct me if I'm wrong) that you cannot purchase HD movies from any device. You can, however, purchase HD TV shows.

This will, undoubtedly, be changing very soon. I think it's a simple issue of 'rights' as in the Hollywood studios haven't given Apple the rights to allow AppleTV purchases as of yet. I can't imagine this is very far off... seems like a no-brainer.
