Ok so here's the problem

I used iWeb to to throw up a quick "under construction page", as I brush up on my Dreamweaver and html skills.

The site is saved under the "Sites" folder with an Images folder, the Index.html file, and a Site folder.

I use interarchy for ftp, so I upload all three of those. Go to the website which is myname.com and my pages appears.

However, it takes me to myname.com/site/welcome.html

I just want it to be listed on the main page. I.E. www.myname.com. That's it, no subdirectory garbage.

Anyway to do this with iWeb, or should I just rewrite all the stuff as an html file and rearrange all the pic links?

index

Just upload the main index ( index.html) file to your root directory. Keep the same structure to your directories, just get rid of the main folder and upload those files to your root directory.
You root directory is whereever your web host designated you to upload files to. Usually it is either www or public_html. Put your index.html and other pages in that directory and put your images in a folder inside that directory called images.
Note: The server SHOULD be set up to automatically read and default to your index.html file as long as it is placed in the root directory, which means it will be the default page your domain resolves to.
I hope that makes sense. :) Good luck.
