I know this is a noobish question but.. Im toying of selling my 64g wifi ipad and older 13 in MBP ( 3 years old) to get a buffed out 13 inch with belles and whistle.

My question is there a cable that would let me stream from iphone 4 to the MBA without loading the library on to it? I would like to keep the MBA itunes free as possible if its doable for space reasons. Thanks for any ideas.

That's a pretty horrible idea. iPhones are VERY unreliable, and tomorrow I'll be getting my 4th iPhone 4 in 3 months. You have a very high potential of losing all your music if something goes wrong with your iPhone.

Guess didn't mention that I have a 2009 17 macbook pro that uses an external for my main itunes library. So my back info is just fine, this is for travel and school use and not having to bring external HD to operate my itunes. Just trying to see a way to watch my digital copy of movies streaming from my iphone 4 and not having to install Itunes on the MBA. And my iphone has been superb since i have gotten it in June. no problems at all in any sense.
