As I wait for my new ATV, I've begun considering ripping all of my videos to be streamed at some point.

I've poked around on this forum for a few days now trying to find a guide to help me with this. Can't find one, but if someone can link me to one that would be awesome.

What is the best/easiest way to do this?

I've downloaded Handbrake and tried it, but I guess I need to get a different program to actually copy off of the DVD to the hard drive and than direct handbrake to that file..?? I think..?

I'm confused! Any help is greatly appreciated!

TIA

Install VLC player (its free), and once installed you can use Handbrake to convert direct from DVD no need ot RIP 1st.

The nice thing about ripping first though, is you can rip 5 or so videos to your HD, then set handbrake to encode them before you go to bed.
