A little noob question ,

I have a Mac Pro 7.1 ( standard and updated -- ) with 192gb 12slots ram 2666mhz ddr4 ( bough this seperatly 2 years ago )
+putted a radeon VII in

I need a beast to work with my Hasselblad files and large productions for video.

now I want to update my processor to xeon w3275m 28core , but this one will work with the 2933 mhz ,.

is it possible to start with the ram that is now in 2666, or have to update again ?


Thank you in advance , would help me a lot !

As long as your motherboard supports that particular RAM spec you should be good
then it should work normally. Will let you know I have received the new cpu. thank you for your awnser . have a nice weekend. The screenshot made me start thinking about it.
