Every night I shutdown my MBP. In the morning the battery reading in the upper right corner is down 1% and it never goes back to 100%. So after 4-5 days of doing this, I am at 96%. The only way to get it back to 100% is to run the battery down a little and then it charges back up to 100%.

Is this normal?

I have tried unplugging the mag connector, no difference. (after shut down)

Yeah dont worry its normal. Download coconutBattery so you will see that your capacity is probably over 5500, what is default for MBP. So as long as you dont go below that level its not gonna start charging

Coconut shows two readings and the bottom one has 5504 as the current charge, and 100%. Top shows 5476/5500 and 99%.

Thanks for the reply.
