Normal to see Apple logo when waking?

Just checking that my Apple TV hasn't gone insane...

When I don't use it for say 24 hours, I get greeted by the Apple logo when I wake the ATV up, this normal?

Nope. When I turn on the TV the AppleTV is in screen saver mode (floating/spinning pictures).

I wonder if it's because I'm using an AV receiver? Although, can't see why that would make a difference.

Doesn't happen all the time, just occasionally.

Maybe its time to return it...

Mine does it pretty much all the time... I'm using an AV receiver also. Before the last software update, it used to freeze at the Apple logo when switching to the TV, so it doesn't bother me seeing it... it has always gone to the menu after flashing the logo for a few seconds now.
