Yeah I ordered mine via Apple's website. Could be here as soon as a week from today.

I also ordered the Apple case which won't be here until May 12th according to my order confirmation!!!

I've never been one to order things. I need the feeling of buying it and having it right away. I hate waiting
I'm gonna try to get out next weekend and pick one up. Hopefully things will have settled down by then.

Hey to each their own, right? I just can't get over the Apple case... I live in Houston, I think 3 Apple stores within 30 miles and countless Best Buys and no cases. 2-3 week back order via Apple...

So I went ahead and picked one up online so that I may (if things go smoothly) only have to go a week or so without it. That iPad will stay on soft surfaces and over fluffy carpet.
