I'm pretty jealous of your latin letters, grrr, but hey I write in 3 diff languages - so I guess that's good thing going for me...
Anyways, before sierra I used caps lock to switch between languages, as my native keyboard layout would switch to english when caps lock was on (there are no uppercase lowercase letters in my lang wohuu). So this worked flawlessly.
In sierra apple decided to introduce this as a feature, there is now new checkbox on keyboard preferences. So now apple allows us to switch between languages via caps lock, and if we do long press original caps lock functionality is retained.
This sounds like a great feature for people like me, but it is not. It works like crap! its driving me nuts! So when I write in Georgian, I switch back and forth to english very fast - this is because a lot of technical terms are non translatable and I'm a software engineer. I think apple implemented debounce type of algorithm to try to distinguish between long press and normal lang switch, so very often when I'm writing huge papyrus debounce goes crazy and refuses to switch language - I'm instantly zoned out of writing mood, pissed off, and looking for someone to take my anger out on.
maybe anyone has a tip how to deal with this? stupid stupid stupid bug?
