Hello to the community,

I am facing a really strange situation with my macs.
I have an iMac 2013 model & a Mac Mini 2014 model both running the latest version of macOS Catalina.

When I try to connect to the shared folders of the Mac Mini from the iMac everything works perfect. But when I try to connect to the shared folders of the iMac from the Mac Mini I cant. It get an error saying that user name or password are wrong and connection can not be established. I tried many things in the System Preferences > Sharing settings but I got no positive result. The only thing that solves the problem is renaming the computers name, meaning that if I rename the iMacs name from iMac to iMacNew and do a restart mac mini connects perfect. The bad thing in this solution is that after doing it the problem reverses. After the rename the Mac Mini can connect to the Shared Folders of the iMac but the iMac can not connect to the Shared Folders of the Mac Mini anymore!!

Can anyone help ?
Any solution ?

Thank you in advance.
Chris.
