Hi..
I have got one iMac and 2 Macbook Pros at my office.

All of our project resources stay in the iMac, so I thought of taking a Time Machine backup and restoring it to my Macbook Pro.
So, I did and its all good.

Just one small problem.

One of my sidebar shortcut is dead and Im neither able to click it, nor delete it.

How can I delete it and create again ?

Please let me know.

Attached the screenshot.

I had this same problem with my new MBA. I migrated from my iMac to the MBA and something with DropBox messed up along the way. I uninstalled DropBox and reinstalled it, but it left a folder in my sidebar that I absolutely an not do anything with. Highly annoying.

10.6.7 changed it so you need to hold down command as you drag it off the sidebar to get it to disappear... too many people would do it by accident.

if that doesnt work then remove the com.apple.finder.plist from the ~/library/preferences folder
