Not able to download podcasts to iphone

Hello all. I am new to the iphone world but haven't had any problems figuring out syncing until I tried to get a podcasts onto the iphone. It gives me a message that states it did not sync because it can not be played on the iphone. What am i doing wrong or what am I missing here?

Are some podcasts not iphone compatible? It was a video podcast if that matters. I was able to download it right to the phone but the ones saved to the computer would not sync and it seems there are not as many available from the phone(not sure if this is so but can't seem to find ones I see on computer.)

Any info will help.

If you are downloading them straight from itunes then they should work fine, try deleting the file and download it again

Some podcast don't work on the iPhone since it can only play mpeg4 files.
