Not able to install software on 10.11 B6

Hi,
I am trying to install software on my Mac on 10.11 B6 and it does not want to install.
This is the error I'm getting (see pic).
I tried to run first aid with no luck in disk utility. Anyone have any resolution to this issue?
This is not a compatibility issue as I have uninstalled software already installed and now it won't install again.

Looks like that is a known issue that Avast is working on. They will have that fixed (so they say) before the final version of El Capitan is released.

Eh ... The OP said that he had uninstalled Avast, and was trying to reinstall. That's the difficulty, and is a known issue from Avast on El Capitan beta.
The value of installing Avast (and other AVs) is a different issue, and already covered on way too many threads here, and other fora .
I hope this thread doesn't have to go there!

This thread could be closed because installed a random program that is a pkg file and it installed fine.
