Not able to open PDFs in mail app? iOS problem or?

I used to be able to view PDFs with no issues. now when I click the attachment the screen goes black and the mail app hangs I have to close the app to be able to do anything else.. this seems to be a new problem either with iOS 9 or jailbreak but I have not installed any tweaks involving mail or PDFs .. someone help? thanks !

I am on 6S 9.0.2 JB

Pdf's working in mail no issue's - maybe it is due to JB ?

I can't open the pdf in mail, ios 9.1, iphone 6 plus. My display show me that is a portable document format
